Our Story
Hi, I’m Vicky. A mom of 2 beautiful (and sometimes feral) human girls and 2 beautiful German Shepherd girls. Originally from Buffalo, NY (yes, I’m a part of the mafia… Bills Mafia that is) we now call Columbus, OH home. I love a good pour over cup of coffee, hearing the crickets at dusk, country roads, real maple syrup, and soaking up the micro-moments of life and motherhood. Most importantly, I am blessed to have a husband who is a total visionary, go-getter, and my biggest cheerleader in all my endeavors, especially this one.
How did we get here?! My resumé resembles that of a highway system in any East Coast state. My experience has enabled me to acquire skills at each stop along the way and has been the foundation for creating Wing Woman VA.
After having our first daughter, I was lost. My ‘dream come true’ felt different than expected. I left corporate America to become a mama (the best but hardest job in the world in my opinion), but still was feeling like something was missing. I had a desire to serve others, stay professionally relevant, and use my brain beyond nap schedules and carefully crafting organic snacks that would be devoured one day and refused the next. I wanted to create an avenue for other mamas with incredible skillsets to feel fulfilled, serving clients while also serving their families. I wanted to help entrepreneurs finally feel free to do the work that they were called to do, creating more time, space, clarity, and capacity… insert Wing Woman VA.
The name Wing Woman VA was inspired by the idea of always having someone in your corner — someone who’s got your back no matter what.
